FOR THE PRE-WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS WILL BE OPEN DURING THE
PERIOD OF MAY 13th TO MAY 28TH ONLY.
PLEASE NOTE
THAT IT IS NOT SUFFICIENT TO REGISTRER ONLY
- YOU WILL HAVE TO SIGN UP
FOR THE COMPETITION AS WELL. AS OF NOW MANY PILOTS ARE REGISTRED
( 25+ ) BUT ONLY SOME ( 13 ) HAS ACTUALLY COMPLETED THE
SIGN UP AND PAID THE REGISTRATION FEE. IT IS THE PILOT RESPONSIBILITY
TO COMPLETE SIGN UP ( AND MOVE FROM REGISTRED PILOT CATAGORY
TO SIGNED UP CATAGORY ) BEFORE 28TH OF MAY IF INTENDING
TO COMPETE.
ALL REGISTRATION WILL HAVE TO BE MADE ONLINE
DURING THIS PERIOD. YOU CAN NOT SIGN UP FOR A COMPETITION
WITHOUT COMPLETING ONLINE PAYMENT SO PLEASE HAVE YOUR CREDIT
CARD DETAILS READY AS YOU REGISTRER.
PILOTS ACCEPTED FOR THE SOLO OR SYNCHRO CATAGORIES
MUST VERIFY / CONFIRM THEIR PARTICIPATION LATEST BY 1st
OF JUNE - WE WILL THEN REMOVE UNCONFIRMED PILOTS
FROM THE PILOT SELECTION AND ENTER PILOTS FROM THE WAITING
LIST.
We would like to extend you all a Warm Welcome
to Vertigo Voss 2007 - for newcomers as well as those of
you that has visited Voss before.
Vertigo Voss will be bigger and better in
2007 than ever before and is also the PRE-WORLDS for the
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS held here in Voss in August 2008!
Also in 2007 the Competition includes Hanggliding
Aerobatics. We will be using three purpose built towboats
to get the all participants aloft efficiently. Synchro Paragliding
will be a part of the Competition - making it one of the
few events Worldwide that includes all 3 catagories.
There will not be any helicopter drops in
Vertigo Voss 2007 but we will be using the helicopter systems
again for 2008.
As previously the Competition is held in parallel
with the Worlds largest Extreme- sports event The
Extremesportsweek , where more than 1000 registred athletes
meet annually to participate in Paragliding, Hanggliding,
Skydiving, Base jumping, White Water Rafting or Kayaking
or pretty much anything that is extreme!
The Extremesports Week 2007 begins on Sunday
the 24th of June - the week is packed with action and great
parties every night so there is no reason to wait showing
up until just before the Competition! We recommend that
you arrive in Voss already the weekend before!
Registration for the Competition takes place
on Monday the 25th between 5-7pm at the lobby of the Event
tent. You will have to Pre-registrer online before that
and it is not possible to enter the competitions without
having been selected before.
